Mr Tennis Courts Rozed for New Addition After the pipe and wire fencing around the tennis courts was torn down, workers began digging up concrete and hauling it away. When all the concrete was removed, ditches were dug and forms set for the pouring of cement for the foundation. Through the east doors of the main building, stu- dents watched the progress of construction as cranes and cement mixers noisily competed with the voices of teachers in the classrooms. I6 School Expansion Bonds Voted On December 6, 1958, property-hold- ing voters approved a Sl,250,000 bond issue for more adequate classroom space in the Pampa school system. Pampa High School was allotted funds for two projects. These were for an ex- tension to the main building, erected east to Duncan Street, and a vocational and agricultural building, constructed west of Harvester Field House. The building addition includes fifteen classrooms, a publications room, a choir room, and a book store to replace the former Co-Op. Tearing down the old tennis courts to provide room for the additional class- rooms was the first iob, started in January. Ns. H pp,
