All high school choruses participated in the Christmas concert and the Spring Festival. In March Dr. Euell Porter of Hardin-Simmons University was guest director at the annual clinic. In late February the choir made a record which was sent to the contest sponsored by the Houston Sym- phony Society. April was the month for Intex-scholastic League contests, which the choir entered at West Texas State College. The Guerrilla team was started back in 1929 and were undefeated and were unscored upon in many games.
