208-Organizations Pep Squad cheers PV to victories P i i With their spirit and enthusiasm the 1986-87 Pep Squad helped cheer the Sea Kings to many incredible victories. Led by Pep Squad President, Marjorie Culver, and advisor, Briar Boyd, the girls supported PVHS at every athletic event and school activity. Also, continuously during the year they gave their all at pep rallies, at the traditional bonfire, at lunch time activities, and during Homecoming Week. They also participated in various outside events including Harlan Shoemaker and different competitions. They discussed various aspects of outdoor recreation ranging from fun activites to environmental concerns. They also went on field trips to National Parks in the area. Amateur Radio and Electronics Club members enjoyed experimenting with circuits and practicing the Morse Code while learning the principles and procedures behind the fascinating world of l-lam Radio communications. Club President Mark Chang said, Since we all had a similar interest, it was really fun talking about our hobby.
