2011-Organizations Conscious of the fact that there are vast amounts of school news and features which involve the students lives, The Trident newspaper published 14 issues ranging from such topics as the Miraleste MUST Plan to Greg and John's Sureshots. Under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Marjorie Culver, The Trident perservered through the procrastination and joking around to meet the sometimes ominous deadlines. Cooperation and camaraderie have been an important part of the relationship of the staff members this year. We have put in a lot of hours of hard work trying to present a responsible paper that both informs and entertains. Consisting of committed distance , . . . . , runners, the 700 Mile Club requires Clubs fetaln ldentlty thf0l.lQh actlvltles each member to run a total of 700 miles over the summer. During the l final week, the runner must average 70 miles to complete the require- ments. To meet this demanding task it takes dedication and hard work, but it is worthwhile in the eyes of each member. It was a lot of hard work, but it was paid off by a good season, said Angie Snider. The Breakfast Club, one of the more unique clubs at Palos Verdes High, knows how to spend their Friday mornings. After a quick jog, the club then goes to a member's house to enjoy a magnificent feast of eggs and the traditional Froot Loops.
