r After being delayed many times by rain and complications, the 1985 Powder Puff football game finally arrived at PV. The junior and senior giris practiced for weeks in preparation for the big event with supervision from various varsity football players. The Juniors had a strong offensive side with players such as Erika Lucas and Josette Blue while the Seniors held a strong defense with Ann Vasey and Amy Schweigler. But Andrea Wil- liams dominated the senior defense to help them win 21-0. This was the second consecutive win by the un- beatable class of ' 85. The crowd was also treated to a special halftime show starring Ted Houston. Senior Andrea Williams easily outruns a junior opponi While Josette Blue and Kristin LaBelle clear the way, senior s Patricia Sinay, Monica Savo, Lucinda Cole, Charmaine Quiang, and Amy Schweigler rush Erika Lucas. Class of ' 85 wins for second consecutive year, 21-0 Josette Blue attempts to break away from Felicia Filep while Erika Lucas backs her up. Soph Doll Week proves ' Moore ' excitement at P As another spring rolled around in PV, so did the annual Soph Doll Week. The candidates included Jennifer Baszile, Kathy Cunningham, Susan Donaldson, Carrie Moore, Kim Ito, Karen Ito, and Keely Peters. Forty- nine sophomore boys carried buckets obtaining money anyway they could for their favorite candidates. The whopping nine hundred dollars collected will go towards the 1986 Junior-Senior Prom. After days of waiting, the Soph Doll dance and announcement came. Carrie Moore was announced Soph Doll ' 85 following in the footsteps of her sister, Kia, Soph Doll ' 83. Afterwards, 611 and the SOS and Treble Entente ended a night of excitement. Aaron Gurewltz persuades Kevin Burke and Mike Barrett to contribute to the cause.
