Thanks to the amazing basketball instincts of Gil Eberhard, son Steve, and Hoppy Keller, the faculty rolled to another victory in the annual Donkey Basketball Game, 50-34. The students, led by Pat Watson ' s 12 points, did not quite attain the heights they had aimed for, inspite of the strong performances of Dave Morris, Dave Neilan, and Jerrell Stark. The girl ' s half of the team was led by Karen Breslau, who scored a personal as well as team high of 2 points, with the help of teammates Nan Williams, Chrissy Giorgio, Diana Hoff, and Johanna Staple. Senior Daryn Holland remarked, Although we lost, the game was a lot of fun. That ' s about all it was. The faculty lineup consisted of many strange and interesting looking teachers whose age and experience overcame the valiant efforts of both the student teams. Despite an outstanding effort, students lose again Jen-el Stark, Steve Eberhard. and Scott Jordan scramble madly to get to the ball first.
