Connie Mclntyre: Choir Performing Arts proves its excellence Jim Bell: Drama I Audition. Drama I, II, III. IV I Don Marino: Music Appreciation, Concert Band. Stage Band. Orchestra The Perfoming Arts Department excelled in many ways this year. In Drama, many awards were won by a very strong and talented group of drama students. There were also many fine performances in the Fall and Spring shows. The Orchestra, Marching, Concert, Stage, and Jazz Bands all entertained the PV students with captivating and consistently excellent performances. More emphasis on research, theory In the Art Department, more emphasis has been placed on read- ing, dealing with artists and and artists ' techniques in the belief that students would acquire new ideas and techniques. Students designed and constructed a calendar in Creative Design which was sold at the annual craft fair. Also, students learned techniques in Beginning Art which helped them visulize shapes, spaces contours, and spacial relations. Ceramics was a popular course with an emphasis on sculpturing.
