Led by number one singles player Scott Tredennick, only a sophomore, and number one doubles team Kurt Kredel and Andrew Chekian, both juniors, the team ' s obvious strong point is that all of its best players will be returning next year. Other strong singles players were Scott Spearman, Mike Bran- dmeyer, and Mark Germann, who are also juniors. In addition, consistently good doubles performances were tur- ned in by seniors Mike Lindberg and Captain Mike Payne, who stated, This is the most well-balanced team I ' ve ever been on in my four years at PV. I have a lot of confidence in us. The JV team, led by the consistent play of top singles player Steve Abrams and the outstanding doubles play of Bill Wilson and Doug Linehan, also had a disappointing start but has high hopes for future seasons.
