Kick.ng the ball past his opponent, Chns Davis passes to his teammate for the score. Boys ' soccer had a tough season this year. Led by captains Jon Rafuse and Chris Kramer, PV was hoping to do as well this year as they had done in the previous years. But this was not to be, for the team lost some close games and did not qualify for GIF. The team finished fourth in Bay League. Cam Tredennick had an outstanding year with 14 shut-outs, which tied a PV record. Leading the defense was sweeper Nam Cho while the offense was led by leading scorer Jon Rafuse. Even though they did not do as well as they had expected, the season gave the players memories that they will remember for the rest of their lives Putting his best foot forward, Dom Militelio tries to beat South ' s player. h jiM i Boys ' JV: Front Row: Kevin Pierce, Richard Blanco, Rob Condon, Andy Hill, Tom Neth, Rafael Solis. 2nd Row: Jon Han, Dave Stafford, Rob Wardell, Scott Strenk, Soi Kitano, Billy Charles, Jim Sole, Tim Button. Placing second in Bay League with a record of 7-2-3, the JV team carried on the winning tradition at PV. Lead- ing scorer Scott Strenk was supported by forward line, Rob Wardell and Tim Button. In addition to doing well in Bay League, JV also put out a fine effort in the Edison Tournament. Frosh-Soph soccer had a good year in Bay League as well as in its outside tournaments. Consistent play was given by Tom Connaghan, Mike Norby, Brad Amico and goalie, Derek Capper. The talented players on Frosh-Soph will contribute greatly to next year ' s JV team. Dribbling like a professional, Robert Wardell prepares to take on the goalkeeper and score. 204-Sports
