Music Man gets summer applause Seventy-six trombones were heard this summer as the PTSA produced the annual summer show, The Music Man. ' ' Climaxed by a surprise visit by Meredith Wilson, who wrote the book, music, and lyrics, the cast provided audiences with the fast, fun musical comedy. Starring in his last lead role, Kevin Costello played the con man, nice guy Harold Hill, talking his way into the hearts and souls of the people in River City. Supported by a wonderful cast and crew, the students from all three high schools on the hill made the last show for the long-time direc- tor, Chip Hipkins, a truly memorable one. SINGING IN TUNE is Gary Thompson, Dave Kalin.
