Jazz Dancers is a performing group which choreographs their own routines every year. Highlighting the dance show, the Jazz Dancers routine demonstrated talent and imagination throughout the unique accompaniment of the B-52 ' s, Planet Claire. Orchesis, the modern dance honorary at Palos Verdes High School consists of almost 40 members. Among its purposes are providing leadership and nurturing interest in dance activities. During the year, guest experts taught master lessons. Orchesis, a very talented group presented its 19th annual dance concert in May. Madelyn Bilkey, who has provided leadership for Jazz Dancers and Orchesis for 19 years commented, The audience response was repeatedly in praise of the level of professionalism displayed by the dancers. - v ■V ' A St : t ., V ?- N %. Honor Music Students: Deanna Bebb, Greg Lombardi, Bob Remstein, Kathy Linehan Bands end seasons with gleeful notes Pep Band peformed wonderfully at the basketball and football games. Spectators and players alike were provided with great music and school spirit. With Don Marino as Pep Band advisor, this proved to be a very good year. Four Honor Music Students were chosing this year from Palos Verdes Each year, 100 music students are chosen from throughout Southern California for this event. It is a great honor for these students because they played at the Music Center, El Camino College, and other fine schools throughout California.
