Patricia Ricci. Marine Mammals Club is an inform- ative discussion group that brings up such topics as what sea animals eat, how they live, and how they die. It talks about such animals as whales, dolphins, porpoises, and other fasci- nating sea animals. Laurence Young was quoted as saying, Marine Mam- mals is an interesting club, and it really is a lot of fun. Marine Science Club is a most out- standing club at Palos Verdes High. During the year, one of their most interesting activities was a $500 field trip. They raised the money for this trip by selling stationery, collecting newspapers and aluminum cans, holding a bake sale, and doing various other moneymaking projects. On the field trip, Joan Wang said, It was an interesting experience being able to bring the classroom outdoors. This was the first year that the Marine Science Club has been at Palos Verdes.
