SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Throughout its three years at Palo Alto High School, the Class of '63 has consistently demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, participation, and personality. In our sophomore year, under the fine leadership of Paul Reinhardt, president; Mary Newton, vice-president; and Nancy Moris, secretary; the class council raised money in several ways, including the selling of coffee at night school. Other members of the class began selling programs at football and basketball games, a project that continued for three years. Our junior class was headed by president David Duisenberg; vice-president Judy Ammann; and secretary Joan Miller. In addition to selling coffee, the class put in long hours working on our Junior Prom, Neapolitan Night, which proved to be a very successful dance. As seniors, we saw our team beat Sequoia and win the S.P.A.L. Championship for the first time in four years! Doug Waples was elected class president; Sue Ker, vice- president; and Nancy Robison, secretary. These officers, along with the Senior Class Council, made our last year a memorable one. Our Senior Boll, held at the Menlo Circus Club, began the round of graduation activities which would end our stay at Paly. Finals, the Senior Picnic, and at last. Graduation and Grad Night . . . then the time for the Class of '63 to say good-bye. We hope we have left some of our spirit and personality behind us, and that we will be remembered, as we will remember Paly. 15
