DONALD R. HEVEL Superintendent of Schools This year is one of the real milestones to be remembered in the history ofthe schools of this district. Instead of a high school with about one-half non-resident pupils and one-half resident pupils, we now have a high school composed of almost all resident pupils. This should draw the entire student body closer together. It is easier for school spirit and loyalty to develop under these conditions. To coin a phrase by Mr. Cummings, the former superintendent, Palmyra High is tops. However, under this new organization, with the help of our new residents, it can become still greater. Ear mm em STANDING: Howard Bier, Harold Phillips, Vice Presidentg Stephen Dearing, Presidentg D. W. Gottman, Secretaryg Luke Logan. SEATED: Floyd Edwards, Treasurerg Mr. Hevel, Superintendent.
