Along with the team's winnings, the Pep Club won the Mustang Conference Award for the Best Pep Club. This is the second year the award has been given to Palmyra. Pep rallies were a feature of the pre -game activities. When you heard the pep band, you knew it was time for another rally. Humorous skits were also given by the student body and cheerleaders. Leading the cheering, the Pep Club gave the Panthers the support, spirit, and determination to succeed. There were three changes in the Pep Club. The new constitu- tion was put into effect along with a dernerit system. lvirs. Oma Eno and Miss jan Williams undertook the new job of sponsoring the organization. The Pep Club supported the volleyball team as well as the basketball team. Many changes may be seen in the Pep Club, new faces, new leaders, and new sponsors, but the spirit will never die. Palmyra High School has a Pep Club of which it can be proud. 21

P-CLUB HOSTSJR. HIGH TOUR EY There were 18 members in the Honor P-Club in the 1967-68 year. Every member has earned a letter in some sport. Earning a letter is the first requirement for gaining membership in this organization. The next and last requirement is that the members of the P-Club vote upon a person's gaining membership which requires a majority vote. The purpose of the Honor P-Club is to promote athletics in Palmyra High School. The P-Club sponsored the Mustang junior High Basketball and Volleyball Tournament which was held on February 19, 21, and 22 of 1968. The P-Club members performed such duties as hosting the teams competing in the tournament, running the scoreboard, and sweeping the floor. 1 P 5 :'-f 1 D ii P-Club Officers: Bruce Sturdy, Treasurerg Bob Beecham, Presidentg Ron E1-cstrum, Vice Presidentg Steve Randall, Sec- retaryg Bill Genuchi, News Reporter.
