Mary Lindell Who said we didn't make mis- takes? The high school newspaper, the PANTHER PRINT, was again revamped in 1967-68, from a small weekly sheet to a bi-weekly 3 or 4 page newspaper. Other changes were special features in each issue, and the use of pictures, something never done before in this newspaper. In the fall of 1967, Ina Genuchi and Jean Beecham represented the PANTHER PRINT at the Nebraska High School Press Associa- tion Convention held on the East Campus, at the University of Nebraska. The girls learned how to construct a good school newspaper, and they were able to compare the P.P. with other school newspapers. Another change was the selling of subscriptions to finance the printing of pictures. Later, the paper was sent to everyone living in District' OR-1 once a month. MR. 'B's' l.G.A.
