Eberly, manager. Although the Palms lost IO lettermen from last year's team, they again turned in a winning record of 6 wins and four losses. The Palms under Coach Shupper opened the season with a I9-7 victory over Ephrata. They continued their winning ways by blanking Lititz, l6-O. Next the Palms iourneyed to Hershey where they met the Troians and came out on the short end of a 20-6 score. Returning to Conference competition, the Palms met Solanco and had a field day in defeating them 32-0. Then the Palms lost two heartbreak- ing, hard fought contests to Manheim, 7-O, and Swatara, l3-7. The Palms bounced back with a 25-0 victory over Gov. Mifflin and con- tinued with a 41-O trouncing of Manheim Central. Palmyra then last a hard fought tussle to the undefeated Hummelstown Bulldogs, I4-0. The Palms closed the season on a winning note with a 47-12 victory over E-town. This year's 6-4 record added to his other 5 year's record gives Mr. Shupper an astonishing over-all record of 42 wins, I3 losses and 4 ties. The Palms were undefeated in Conference play during 4 of these years and won 2 championships. if A. .. 3.
