As a result of the district reorganization plan, the 9th grade will be moved to Truman High School next year. Each year we say good-by to our 9th grade students, but this year a unique situation has presented itself. We will also be losing our 8th grade class. After the 1982 school year Palmer will house only 7th and 8th grade students. This means changes - no sports ac- tivities, no cheerleaders, no pep club, and no freshmen. Our school from this year forward will be quite different. Our goal as a Yearbook Staff this year is to capture the spirit of Palmer - what we are, our successes, our failures, our faces, our dress, and our style. We want to show our school at work and at play. There is a unique quality about our student bodyg some call it school spirit, others call it friendship. Whatever this quality is, we want to show it in the next 112 pages, and we hope these qualities will not be lost in the shuffle and change of the future. SBE Fl Year of Change
