Lo Juntci ond North Denver gove the Brown ond White eosy victories os the Tribe combined its high spirits with occurote shooting. Using the new post system for the first time, the Terror five slid post the Trinidod Miners, 33-27, in the Tribe's first South Centrol leogue gome of the secison. The next two weeks sow Jerry l-lughes' crew defeot Cherry Creek ond Pueblo Centennicil in close, low scoring contests. Ron Anderson, ci iunior forword, topped the Terror scoring mcirk cigoinst Centennicil with 2l points. The Pueblo Centrol Wildcots' dominotion of the rebound honded the Tribe its first leogue defeot, 55-44, thus ccinceling Brown ond White chonces of gciining undisputed possession of first ploce in the leogue. The Brown ond White fought to the very lost ogoinst the Tigers in o close gcime thot sow the Junction crew come out on top, 42-39. After on eosy win over the Trinidod Miners eorly in the seoson, the tecim wos confident of onother win over the some tecim, but ci tight defense ond ciccuroite shooting gove the Miners o 4l-34 win. The following night sow the cogemen drop ci sur- prised Grond Junction Tiger teoim by ci 50-44 score. Terror hopes were kept olive os the Tribe powered over the Pueblo Centenniol Bulldogs, 53-32, in preporotion for the lost ledgue gome of the seoison with Pueblo Centrol.
