The Phantom Strikes Again . . . 'I 7' A aud i ,gt 7 , ,, id 3 . . SUSAN JOHNSON AND CINDY HOWARD get scrubbed up for the performance of THE PHANTOM STRIKES AGAIN prior to presentation for student body. Play 1 was annual junior-senior dramatic presentation to large audience on March 23, 1973, directed by Mrs. Rebecca Bailey. BRUCE ALLEN is a most convincing phantom with Norma Cottongame the shocked matron in the play. ELBERT SMITH kept the audience rapt with his portrayal of BRUISER. BETH JOHNSTON, Greg Davis, Sondra Smith, and Cindy Howard acted well their parts.

Raymond Caldwell, together with faculty mem- ber, Mrs. Retha Bigham, presented songs of another year in keeping with the program theme. This was a big day in our lives, and two people who represented the now favorites at our school were Hubert Bonner and Thelma Louise Jordan, voted the honors by the high school student body. Lynn Smith, Greg Davis, Sondra Smith, Susan Smith, Julius Simmons, Cindy Howard Elbert Smith, Harold Markham, Patti Holle- man, Sara Stacks, Susan Johnson, and Louanne Norris, the Footprints Staff, pre sented the FAVORITES IN RETROSPECT on the twenty-second day of February, 1973. Attorney Lynn B. Griffith, Mrs. L. H. Bar- ron, Mrs. Cathryn Harvard, and Byrne Cooke, all former P.H.S. graduates, now prominent citizens, were guests.

In March 1973! BILL MERRELL, Baptist minister on occupational education advisory committee, brought commentary to F.H.A. in regular group meeting in March. Time exposure kept MRS. .XX BLOCKER and the school favorites cheerful as the photographer, CRAIG SLAYTON , ran into the photo just in time. ATTORNEY LYNN SMITH reads the will in THE PHANTOM to a final-scene cast which was gloomy. I X M FIE! FEARS FOUNDED ON FANTASY ARE FUNNY!
