Seen above is President Mrs. Wayne Murchison with some of the officers at a meeting of the Parent -Teachers Association. r This group of men and women meet the second Tuesday in each month for a planned program to enlighten the members on the needs and problems of our school. The theme for this year's work has been: We The P. T. A. Seek To Understand The Family Story. Their motto: Service is our Watchword, Child Welfare is our Aim, Better Life Conditions the Success We Claim. Each of the programs for this year have dealt with the betterment of the family through the in- struction of parents and teachers. Some of the subjects have been education, finances, love, home, community, and happiness. One of the main objects for the year has been to promote the welfare of the children and youth in home, school, church and community. Mrs. Murchison has done a fine job this year in leading the organization to achieve each goal attained. 54
