They are selected upon the basis of points earned through service to the school's athletic program and through service to their own organi- zation . They are a credit to themselves and to the G.A.A. GIRL J COA CHE Under the direction of Mrs. Mary Smith, Miss Pat Henson, and Mrs. Sharon Hano, the Girls' Physical Education Department of Palmdale High School has accomplished its purpose of creating fresh interests in physical education by introducing new games and teach- ing new techniques. The girls have responded enthusiastically to the new games and other activities such as modern dance, folk dancing, archery, volley ball, and first aid.
