Hel SM a successful life. Calvin E Anderson Principal A man we all know well because of his close work with the stu- dents themse.lves, is our assistant principal, Wayland Reynolds. In working with the students he has found that the standards of conduct at Palm Springs High are what they should be. He respects the student body and feels they are reliable. This can be seen, he points out, in the way the student body responded to the littered campus appeal, earlier this ear. Pllthough Mr. Reynolds has had various iobs in his 15 years at P.S.H.S., he has always worked closely with the students. He enioys this relationship because it keeps him busfy an.d he has the chance to 'meet everyone. All those who do know Mr. Reynolds personally will agree that he is a good friend and a very understanding person. We, as human beings, deal with infinity There no limits placed upon us except those we place ourselves. Our horizons extend into worlds we c yet see. Education prepares us for this unknown And it is with you. Graduation from high school opens horizons. Where you go or how far you go depends your personal goals and your willingness to obtain Your expectations of life should be possible to ac although not always readily and easily attainable not settle for the mediocre The world moves swiftly and change creates c tunity. You must be prepared to accept the challenge the change. You must be prepared to accept the resl bilities of our society social, civic, and financial Y must develop a personal integrity that will guide you Graduation is a moment of truth As head of the counseling staff, George Scholl has done a tre- mendous iob organizing the guidance program at Palm Springs High School. He enjoys his job as counselor because is gives him a chance to work with all the students. He believes we are fortunate to have such a beautiful school and should appreciate its opportunities. ln his nine years at Palm Springs High, Mr. Scholl has watched the student body increase from 300 to 1300. The growing campus, itself, also shows constant changes. One thing, he points out, which has stayed the same, is the school spirit. He feels we have a good student body with a high spirit rating. To those of us who know him petsonolly, he is a true friend. Wayland Reynolds George Scholl Assistant Head Counsellor
