Thirtyetwo hopefuls signed up for the four events: side strolze, breast strolee, freestyle, and diving in each of the physical classifications ol: sA', 'B', and 'Cf All of this was under the alnle guidance of palm Springs High Schools Coach, Weylarid Reynolds, and the team manager, Reed Swahford. This is the second year that Palm Springs has had a swimming team. The first team with which we competed this year was REDe LANDS on March 29th. Soon afterwards our team met RIVER- SIDE, and then these two again combined with Chaffey lunior College in the Riverside County meet. We ended our season hy swimming in the C.i.F. Meet at Beverly Hills on May 9th, 10th, and 12th.
