ATLANTIS Q K i'QiE'T4M5'if gg, ,.::. E p .. ,,,, ff-:fa The Atlantis is the literary magazine of the Palm Beach Private School. Its first publication was in 1937. The main purpose of the Atlantis is to strengthen the knowledge of its readers through interesting reading. The best short stories, poems, essays, and articles are se- lected from the writings of all the students in the various grades of both the upper, middle, and lower schools by the editoral board. The editor of the Atlantis is Leila Richards, and the editoral staff includes Georgia Riley, ,Ioli Von Rebhan, Sandra Hardeen, Florence Seeley, Bill Burroughs, Will Rasmus- sen, Bob Rooth, and Mike Garvan. The faculty advisor is Mr. Skinner.

PORTFOLIO The Middle and Lower School newspaper, The Portfolio, is a publication which appears throughout the school year. Compiled entirely by a staff of Middle Schoolers, headed by Barbara Bayless, it includes poems, stories, articles, and the gossip from the Nursery School through the Sixth Grade. We wish to congratulate the entire staff and the faculty advisor Mr. Bayless for the excel- lent job they have done this year.
