LOURDES PADRON Born in Havana, Cuba, Lourdes came to us as a Junior in November, 1960. She quickly became a part of the school and was an active member of both the Dramatics Association and the Glee Club. This year, as a Senior, Lourdes is a member of the Yearbook staff. She has proven her athletic ability by being a member of the varsity volleyball team for both Junior and Senior years. Lourdes has no plans for college but thinks that she may attend a secretarial school unless circumstances permit her to return to her native country.

A native of Palm Beach, Uby entered this school in 1953 as a fourth grader. He left the school in 1955 leading his fifth grade class in honors. Entering again in the eighth grade, he served as the President of the Junior Science Club. In the high school grades Uby has contributed a great deal to the school, sewing for four years on the Yearbook staff and for three years as an outstanding member of the Dramatics Association. For his efforts in all phases of Dramatics he has received several Amory L. Haskell Awards. An outstanding student in Mathe- matics and French, Uby has received a Trustees Prize for Algebra ll and Honor- able Mention for excellence in French recitation. Planning to major in Mathematics Uby hopes to attend Williams College. ALEXIS OBOLENSKY 7

PETA PAULL Peta's years at Palm Beach Private have made her an integral part of the school. Peta has been active in many of the organizations of the school such as dra- matics, glee club, and the Leaders Club of which she is co-president, and captain of the Pelicans. In the fifth grade Peta won the Chapin Cup,which is awarded to the most outstanding student in the Middle School. Peta excels in sports and last year she was awarded the Paul Maddock Field Day Award for her outstanding efforts on Field Day. She has been on all of the major varsity sports teams and has been an invaluable member of the team. Palm Beach Private will miss Peta next yearg she hopes to enter Mills in the fall.
