Price has meant to Palm Beach High School. He came to Florida from Kansas and he has been a part of our school on the Hill ever since. During his three years here he was, among other things, a member of our first football team. After graduating in 1926, Mr. Price attended the University of Florida. Palm Beach High lost him for a while but not for long, for he soon returned to teach and to be married. In 1936 Mr. Howell Watkins asked Mr. Price to serve as Dean of Boys, a position he held for twenty years. During his time here he was our adviser, counsellor, confidant, and above all, our friend. Never too busy to share the troubles that seemed.for the moment too heavy for us to bear'alone, Mr. Price was and will continue to be in years to come, a memorable part of Palm Beach High School. So it is with gratitute in our hearts to this man for whom we all have the deepest respect and admiration, we proudly dedicate this Royal Palm of l957.
