CLASS OFFICERS wwwn ABOVE: BILL BROWN, PAT KLEIN, BONNIE CARNEY, NORMAN KREISER. To Palm Beach Junior College in September, 1954, came the ambitious class that was destined to be the last to graduate from the college ' s temporary home in Lake Park. Embarking upon a new phase of learning, these incoming fresh- men found Palm Beach Junior College warm, receptive, and encouraging. Lead- ing the aspiring class through the first year of college were President Norman Kreiser, Vice President Katherine Williams, Secretary Barbara Johnson, and Treas- urer Lynn Wagnon. When Kathy, after departing from PBJC, entered matrimony, a new vice president. Tommy Stephenson, was elected. Freshman projects in- cluded the co-sponsoring of the choirs of Palm Beach High School for an assem- bly and the Freshman-Sophomore Banquet at the Coral Beach Club honoring the Class of ' 55. To guide the Sophomores through their reigning year at J. C , as they affec- tionately call their college, the Sophomore Class elected the following officers: Norman Kreiser, president; Bill Brown, vice president; Bonnie Carney, secretary; and Pat Klein, treasurer. Though the Class of ' 56 did not have access to the modern facilities of Palm Beach Junior College ' s future permanent home, each member appreciates having the privilege of being a part of Palm Bach Junior College ' s history.
