Another Drop in the Bucket ln the school's few years as a high school, we have been one of the leaders in the county when it comes time to donate blood. ln the last three out of five years, Palm Bay High has taken home the trophy for most blood donated by a high school. When the blood bank of Melbourne sent the bloodmobile to Palm Bay in the spring and fall, the students were ready and willing to part with a pint of blood. Over the last five years we have donated three hundred ten pints of blood. HOSA sponsors the blood drive every year and its members work inside the bloodmobile volunteering their time. Our student body should be proud to be a leader of such a worthy cause. HOSA members Suzie Santiago and Amy Whalen prepare to store blood donated by a student.
