This new addition to Palisades represents five years of per- sistent effort and countless hours of time and energy. Actually, just two months after the original building was dedicated in 1953, plans for the addition were begun - conclusive evidence, in an atomic age, of the progressivism of the Palisades' staff and community. Among the many features included in the new construction are six classrooms, an art room, an industrial arts shop, a faculty room, and a one room addition to the cafeteria. Provision was also made for a vocational agriculture classroom in the original building, two new lavatories, rough grading of an eight acre athletic field, and remodeling the cafeteria to allow two serv- ing lines. 3 Interior construction. He had just escaped from the asylum, and threatened to get the Mac- Gregors. A man resembling Lanzetti ap- peared. But he proved to be Everett T. George, the noted inventor in electronics. Tubiello, SENIOR PLAY Good Night Ladies, under the direction of Mr. C. Mann, was a three-act comedy presented by the Senior Class on November 7 and 8 in the school auditorium. The story centered around the Raleigh youngsters, Helen, Jane, and Sam, who had inherited an old house near the campus of Grayson College, They later de- cided to turn it into a dormitory in an effort to pay oft the mortgage. The dean of women, Miss Eggleby, threatened to spoil the plan because of the delayal of Aunt Barbara and Aunt Flora Stevens, who were to come to act as ma- trons for the dormitory. However, Sam and his com- panion, Jug Brown came to the conclusion that the only thing left for them to do was to impersonate the two aunts which was quite a riot. Not only did they have to deceive Miss Eggleby, but also various new students and Professor Dexter, who wasn't fooled for too long but kept the secret anyway. Many complications arose, but in the end the plan was successful for all those concerned. J. Free. ROW 3: W. Shivik, J, Strock.
