BUT, Mrs. Mclnfyre Waughan FosTerJ was a progres- sive pareni and usually had her way. Giving The kids all They wanT included plans for a big, dress-up party. Everyfhing was moving along smooihly unTil vampish Prudence Darling arrived on The scene. Played by Joann Krause, Prudence soon had Terry's boyfriend, Brian fl-liran Bee-rl, and George bewifched by her charms, On The big nighT, The parfy was inferrupfed by George's uproarious enfrance. Hof on his Tail was Trafhc cop Fred Deghuee, wiih a Ticket for driving Through a red lighf. ln The inTerrogaTion ThaT followed, The cop insulted Prudence, whereupon George gallant- ly knocked him down and was marched off To iail. The nexf morning, affer having been bailed ouT by his fafher, George hiT a new low of misery. Prudence Told him he was Too young for her. Finally, The sfory ended on a happy noTe when Terry won her boyfriend back.
