MNOW YoU'RE TALKING The junior Class Play 6'Now You're Talking was a comedy in three E1CtS. Th? action centered around a complicated love affair and one blooming after Z5 years. THE CAST Goldie Lockwood '- - Betty Laux Janice Lockwood ----- Mary Fellers Bill Bryson' - '- ' P aul Ayette Freddie Wyatt '------ Sam Lindamood Aurelia Royce ' Anna Dill Pilson McCrabb jay Mikesell Gussie Croker ' Juanita Lindamood Kit Lee Croker ' 'joe Graham Bluebell -'- ' Patty Wilt Yosie Yonson '-'--- Florence Garber Patrick McGillicuddy--- Carl Graham Betty Laux and Paul Ayette are the lovers, QBetty raised the house when she appeared on the stage stuffed with cotton and pillowsj Mary Fellers, Betty's sis- ter and Sammy become complicated in a murder of Anna Dill, Betty and Mary's rich aunt who threatens to disinherit Betty if she marries Paul. jay, Paul's uncle, threatens to disinherit him if it happens. The aunt and uncle come to see their niece and nephew, respectively. Anna is not really murdered and jay and Anna are reconciled after Z5 years. Paul and Betty are given the Ngo ahead sign. joe provides wholesome entertainment as 'Athe mean wittle kid , son of the landlady. Patty is the colored maid, Florence, the cook, and Carl, cop on the beat, provide further entertainment with their kitchen romance. All are exceptionally happy when joe gets a beating from Juanita, his mother. The funniest part of the whole plot is that Anna and jay both claim to have been left at the altar. But it turns out that they both went to the wrong church. 'GPLEASED TA MEEITCT-IA The Senior Class play, Pleased Ta Meetcha , was a comedy with mystery. THE CAST Beevy -'-'--- '- ---- Duane Goens Henry Bixby --'-- '- Bob Wilson Martha Bixby Mary Lou Hapner Betty Bixby - '-'- -Ada Marie Runner Elmer Hicks - - '-' K enny Niswonger Archie Pomeroy '-- -Noel Marshall Howard Wills -'- '-'-- Kenny Oliver Babs Maxwell ' Helen Lowdenslager Ruth Adams --'-- '- Mabel Waymire Andrew Grimes -- '--Harry Poling Binks ' Ray Richards I Marie - Martha Grim As the play opens, all is in readiness for Ada's birthday party and Mary Lou has invited Noel, because his family have money and social standing. fShe judges everyone by financial and social standing, since the family has suddenly come into a considerable amount of money, that is her way of jumping into society., This irks Ada, but it is a turn about when Mary Lou learn that Ada has invited Kenny N., one of her childhood friends and a typical country rube, to her party. Kenny arrives early and Ada attempts to polish him up. The results are very humourous. MMurder is played at the party and as the lights come on, Bob is found on Ihe floor unconscious and a valuable necklace, Ada's birthday gift, is missing. Suspicion is cast on Kenny N. and Ada has about decided that she must put him out of her life when Kenny N. with the aid of Duane traps two criminals: one of whom is the thief in question who has been posing as a detective.
