Roberta jett Eugene Kelly Doris Teaford FRESHMAN NEWS On Sept. 3, sixteen freshmen appeared on the campus of P.H.S. to occupy the seats in the first row from the door. We discovered four new members of the class, Paul Garber, Betty Harsh, Roberta Jett, and Betty Dininger, and a brand new teacher for advisor, Miss Filbrun. On Sept. 27, the initiation party was held at'the home df Paul Runner. We enjoyed the tunnels, the earthworms, and the ujunkn we had to wear that afternoon. A weiner roast concluded the evening. We had a party Nov. ZZ, at the school house. We had sandwiches popcorn, and pepsis for refreshments. We wonder if Harold Goens will ever learn to wink? We are proud of our boys, Bob Janes, Bob Graham, Harold Goens, and Paul Deeter on the basketball squad. They are doing very well. We are also proud of Shirley Harless, who is one of our able cheerleaders. We were sorry to lose Maryjo Hayes, who moved into the Hollansburg district. We hope we will not lose anymore from our class.1 L
