D YMAMITE 3 FACES FACES FACES GOOFING OFF 8 PANTHER PROIWL Homecoming Schedule Spirit Week (October 29-November 2) was o week of zony dress-up days in which both students ond teachers participated in Little Kid, Tacky Tourist. Holloween. Black, and Blue and Gold Days. The theme of the week was Rombusters. Panther Prowl (November 1) included skits, music, and cheers. Eosrside casket was carried out- side and burned in the gigantic bonfire. A Chevy was mutilated in the Cor Bash as students and faculty took their best shots. Parade (November 2) spectators enjoyed the colorful parade down St. Johns Avenue. Football Game and Coronation (November 2) Stephanie Ward was crowned Homecoming Queen during holf-time at the football gome. 1964 Homecoming Court ond Escorts Angelo Jones — Rodney Carroll Michelle Turner — Mark Ridaught Stephanie Word — Mr. Frank Ward Tammy Lorgacci — Randy Largacci Willa Jean Barber — J. R. Hoyes The footboll gome ended with a final score of Polotko 20, ond Easrside (Gainesville) 21. Dance (November 2) A week of exciting activities culminated with a dance. Music was provided by Universal Sounds. Kelly plans ro attend college and then seek admission to medical school. In her spare rime she likes to read and swim. Kelly s most memorable moment was being in charge of the 1963 Homecoming Parade when it poured down rain. Mr. J. Gartin and Mrs. P. Lawrence ore rhe teachers Kelly feels influenced her the most while in high school. Kelly was actively involved in Key Club, French Club, GYO, Beta, Anchor Club, and Juniorertes. OUTSTANDING SENIORS Tammy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Largacci. Tommy was a member of rhe Tennis Team, HOSA, Stu- dent Council, NHS, FBLA, Juniorertes and Tri-Hi-Y. She was a Homecoming Attendant. She plans ro ortend Junior Col- lege for two years and then obtain her master's degree in nursing. Tammy credits Mrs. S. Harris, Mrs. C. Meadows, and Coach Wilson Edwards for helping her rhe most dur- ing high school. Tammy enjoys ploying tennis, softball, and rhe piano. OUTSTANDING SENIORS 33 Elizabeth is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin. She plans to attend college for four years, then pursue a career in teoching. Ms. M. Embree, Ms. M. L. Thomas, Ms. P. Cole, and Ms. A. Wolff are the people she credits for helping her the most during her four years of high school but states all her teachers were wonderful. Her most memorable moment was when the Hi-Q team finished their season undefeated. Carmen is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Krause. Carmen plans to attend college and major in a service- oriented occupation. She has been involved in Student Council, Beta. NHS, tennis ream, Spanish Club. Anchor Club, and Juniorerres. Carmen's most memorable mo- ment was being selected as a Girls' Stare Representative and being chosen as an Outstanding Senior. Eric, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Gulledge, would like to ploy college football and study marine biology. He has been involved in many activities — football, basketball, FCA, weightlifting and Key Club. Mrs. M. Perry, Mrs. Merritt, and Mr. R. Penouilh were the teachers Eric felt helped him the most during high school. His favorite things to do ore surf- ing and fishing. 34 OUTSTANDING SENIORS Reno is rhe son of Eugene and Coro Fells. He plans ro go ro college and study low enforcement and ploy football. Reno wos involved in football, basketball, FCA. and track. He credits Mr. M. Myrick, Mrs. M. Perry, Cooch Edwards, and Cooch McCool for giving him the most help during high school. In his rime off, Reno enjoys ploying football, weightlifting, ond watching television. Renee is the daughter of Mr. Lorry ond Mrs. Martha Former. Renee plans ro work with children in gymnastics. She wos a basketball and football cheerleader for three years. She was co-editor of rhe Horizons Yearbook. She credits Mr. R. Penouilh, Ms. S. Skidmore. Ms. A. Knowles, Ms. L. Smith and Miss J. Thomas for giving her rhe most help during high school. Michelle is the daughter of Mr. William and Ms. Shirley Turner. She wos o football Cheerleader for four years ond rhe coproin of rhe 1964 Varsity Squod. She was president of her Junior ond Senior Classes. Michelle wos rhe Interact Sweetheart, Homecoming Attendant, ond Honor Guord. Ms. S. Skidmore. Mr. J. Rogero. ond Mrs. L. Smith helped her rhe most during high school. _____________ 05 Michelle is the daughrer of Frank and Mary Noosko. Dur- ing high school she was involved in bond, Bera, BHS, and Latin Club. Ms. M. L. Thomos, Mrs. P. Cole, Mr. T. Council, and Mr. J. Pignoro ore the teachers she feels helped her the most during school. Her most memorable moment wos when, after two years of hard work the bond finally mode straight superiors during her junior year. Dorrin is the son of Mr. ond Mrs. Herman Whaley Sr. Darrin wos involved in football, NHS, FCA, Weightlifting, Key Club, Anchor Club, Beta ond wos also chosen for Boys' Store. Dorrin plans to attend the United Stores Naval Academy ond major in marine engineering. His most memorable moment wos ploying in the Milton Gome in 1983. Dorrin felt that Mrs. M. Perry, Mr. J. Brock, Ms. Cothy Merrir, and others influenced him during school. MARION Morion is the daughter of Mrs. Pipo. Morion would like to study aerospace engineering or physics ond loter be port of o research team. She wos o member of the NHS, Hi-Q, ond Moth League. She feels that Ms. M. L. Thomos, Ms. P. Lawrence, ond Ms. P. Cole influenced her the most during high school. 36 OUTSTANDING SENIORS Lorroine is rhe doughrer of Mr. and Mrs. James Ruth, 5r. Lorraine plans fo arrend FSU and major in communica- tions. Her most memorable moment occurred during rhe spring sports banquet in her 9th grode year, she could nor attend it because of illness and Ms. Aired and her ream- mares went to her home to present her with her awards. Lorraine was involved in HOSA, basketball, and track. Laura is rhe doughrer of Mr. and Mrs. William and Virgino Merhvin. Her high school activities include Keywanerres, Larin Club, NH5. Beta, Hi-Q, Moth League and Junioretres. Mr. S. Hunt, Mrs. P. Cole, Mrs. S. Ducore, and Ms. M. Em- bree hove hod a wonderful influence on her during high school. Laura plans to attend either Auburn or Emory University as a pre-dentistry major for four years im- mediately after graduation. Ramey is the son of Ms. Pat Sralvey and Mr. Raymond Roc- zkowski. He has been involved in FCA, Football, and Baseball. He plans to arrend college and study engineering. Ramey's most memorable moments while in high school were playing in rhe 1980-84 Store Championship Football Game and being selected all-county and all-district football player.
