Palatine s freshman basketball squad gained first place ln the Trl-County Conference with a 9-'l rec- ord conslstrng of double victories over Elmwood Park, North Chicago, Fenton, Lake Park, and a split with Glenbrook The freshmen also placed fourth in their tournament and finished their season with a total record of thirteen wins and five losses. Seven freshmen squad members-Allen Helms, Jon Fabri, Curt Marker, John Elms, Dennis Christenson, Robert Williamson, and Wayne Campbell-and two man- agers-Leonard Rose and Dick Sipp-received their numerals Fourth place ln the Tn-County Conference went to the sophomore basketball squad which piled up wins over Fenton, Lake Park, Elmwood Park, and Glenbrook, while losing to North Chicago Glen- brook, Elmwood Park and Fenton The season record was 'l0-'l2 The lettermen were Bob Schneble, Bull DePue, Bill Dietrich, Bill McFeggan, Harvey Foster. Ron Angerer, and Managers, Tom Anderson and Harvey Drewes.
