In Memoriam Beginning her twentieth year of service to Palacios Independent School District and Palacios High School, a valuable member of our staff was suddenly lost to us. Death claimed our Mrs. Toellner on September 25, 1984. Her dedication to school children and the programs of the school was far above the call of duty. The work she did for the school and the community, while remaining a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother will always be a memorial to her. It is in this frame of mind that we remember Mrs. Toellner at this time. 22 Janice Toellner Dedication Wc chose to make a special dedication this year because we have a special reason - Mr. Holst has chosen to retire. For our picture for this dedication we chose to show him in a working situation, because that is where he has spent many hours over the years, working for better schools for all of us. We chose not to dwell on his history, as this is well-known in the community, but as a student body we wish to say “thank-you” for all the many hours and hard work through these years guiding the schools for our welfare.
