Dedication The 1968 Ebbtide is dedicated to peace in Viet Nam, in the hope that in the years succeeding, an understanding among the peoples of their nation and all other nations may evolve, bringing about the unity of mankind. In this year of 1 968, it is particularly appropriate that the Ebbtide express ap- preciation to the American soldiers who are still fighting in Viet Nam. Many for- mer students of Palacios High School are serving their country in Viet Nam. They are our bulwark against aggres- sion, our hope of a free tomorrow. We feel the entire community of Pala- cios joins us in a salute to our soldiers who are making such a courageous and determined effort to gain the ultimate victory.
