DENNIS HICKL CHUCK REMLINGER CAROL TUREK President Vice-President Secretary In Ourselves Our Future Lies COLORS: Red and White SONG: Impossible Dream FLOWER: Red Rose SPONSORS SEATED: Mrs. J. G. Smith. Mr. Loud- erback. Coach Shreve, Mr. J. G. Smith. As we, the Senior Class of 1968, leave Palacios High School, we take with us the many wonderful memories of our twelve ex- citing years in school. This past year we have shared many thrill- ing and happy moments together. Our senior parties; the Method- ist Kid Party, the Presbyterian Hobo Party, and the Catholic Ban- quet, are events all the Seniors enjoyed and will remember. They also will remember the three flat tires, the water pistol fights, and the water balloons that the senior boys gave the senior girls on the hayride. After much effort and hard work, the senior play, Blithe Spirit, added many more fond memories. The senior trip, when Palacios invaded Bandera, is an event especially remembered by each and every senior. The wild pea- cock hunts, getting caught at Ghost Town, the flag-raising cere- mony, the pool with the groovy juke box, and all the other exciting happenings will always be treasured by our class. Al- though it rained during the trip, it did not dampen the spirit of the Class of 1968. So now we have to leave Palacios High School. We thank our wonderful teachers, and especially the senior class sponsors, for their never-ending patience and kindness. We leave sadly, but with warm hope and courage for our future years. CAROL TUREK Class Secretary
