SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL MR. J. G. SMITH To the Students of Palacios Senior High School: Congratulations to each of you for a wonderful year. As each school year goes fleeting by it seems to me that you, the student body, improves and I find it much more difficult to say adieu to the Seniors and welcome to the Sophomores. During this past and wonderful year, amid our trials and tribulations, each of us have found time to work, study, and play. My best wishes to all classes of 1967-1968 and may you be blessed with success in all your ventures. JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL MR. VICTOR KAHLICH Dear Students: An uneducated person or society will find it more dif- ficult as time goes on to live in this country of vast knowledge. At no time in history has the need for classroom education and proper training of skills been greater. In order for you to reach your total education potentials, it is necessary for you to see the school classroom early in life as a privilege and opportunity extended to you through the foresight of your forefathers. Look at ed- ucation as a responsibility you have to yourself, your family, and your country. Students, your educational needs are too great to be taken lightly. It is my sin- cere hope that each of you will set high educational goals for yourselves and that I will play a part in helping you to reach your objectives. xJ$7 Ul L V. J. Kahlich, Principal
