Senior Will We the Senior Class of 1958, in the town of Palacios, the county of Matagorda, state of Texas, being, naturally, in an unusually good frame of mind and madder than heck, do hereby make this our last will and testament, rendering all former wills we have made null and void. Rodger Anthis wills his amazing card playing ability to Bill Wilson. Martha Bernal leaves Ophelia Rendon her ability to get engaged. To Charles White, Arthur Alamia leaves his ability to make U's in P.E. and still graduate . Joyce Brune leaves her homemade beauty kit to Dana Pore. Ted Bates leaves his ability to cut shrimp boats in desks and tear up a guitar to Jon Clayborn. Donnie Cosby leaves her failing ability to get away with painting the school to Betty Friery. John Beard leaves his girl attracting personality to Dennis Jensen. To Patricia Rogers, Gloria Hetchler wills her ability to type 120 words a minute in short hand. Guy Chamblee, John Glowka, and Sterling Griffith leave their hidden talent to kill a tune without anyone else knowing it, to John Snider, Elmer Jenkins, and Harold Pennington. Lynn Richards wills her ability to inspire class competition to Virginia Wells. Jerry Dawson wills Russel Law his ability to drive his Daddy's car without anything happening to it until his Dad gets in it. Betty McEntire leaves her ability to laugh at the Baptist Western Banquet to Elaine Tumlinson. To Loretta DeWitt, Betty Nelson leaves her ability to date the more popular boys in school. Harold Bowers, Keith Thompson, Joyce Linley and Betty Tanner leave their painting ability to Jearl Lewing, Verner Bowers, Patricia Christy, and Mary Ramsey. Laura Ford leaves her overwhelming school spirit to Betty Friery who needs it. Fannie Jenkins leaves her undying ability to always get bookkeeping correct to Rosie Bernal. Kenneth Brune leaves his ability to get one car and keep it to Robert Toll. David Carter leaves his ability to pull up signs to Lacy Lowry. Virginia Lothridge leaves her ability to star in the Senior Play opposite her secret love to Avanell Brister. Margaret Ottino wills her sack dresses to Virginia Hernandez. Lela Belle Barnhart leaves her wedding date (the night of the Senior Play) to Betty Highberg. Diana Prindle wills her ability to act sophisticated when she really isn't to Jutta Haubold. Abelardo Flores leaves his Indian disguise to Juaquin Rocha. Johnny Hamlin wills his Wine, Women, and Weeds to Ronald Jensen. John Lee Henry leaves his ability to cheat and not get caught to a person who needs it. Jack Traylor. Glen Smith leaves his mud throwing ability to Harold Pennington. Robert Keszler leaves his great dancing ability and his book Ten Ways to Win at Ping Pong, to Elojio Alamia. Peggy Sue Ramsey wills her membership card to the Ink Spots to Nancy Reneau. Ramona Ramirez leaves her brand new 1915 typewriter and her unsurpassed speed at typing on it to Delphina Perez. Patsy Robinson wills her tobacco spitting ability, and her sneaky ways of ringing fire bells to C. L. Flowers. Learine Rooks leaves her faulty bookeeping methods to Shirley Bowers. Rose Marie Shimek wills her ability to pick 400 pounds of cotton a day and her favorite book. Truth, to Bobby Bickham. Carol Ann Partain leaves her kissin1 cousin, Edward Pennington, to Mary Ramsey. Tommy Tumlinson leaves his Home-Made Muscle Building Kit to Leon Stiener and wishes him luck . Herby Gonzales leaves his katty hair do to Coach Newbill and Ernest Tumlinson, since we heard Coach liked it. Lawrence Navarro leaves his girls at Port Lavaca and his membership card to the Lone Star Club to Domingo Llanes. Marshall Rogers leaves his ability to hunt coons all night after a basketball game and still be able to chase girls the next day to Billy Douglas. Joe Rodriquez leaves his ability to dance on the tennis courts all night and then BEAT John Lee on a Chemistry test the next day to Victor Navarro. Alvin Salinas wills his ability to attract the high school girls to Verner Bowers. Louis Sanchez wills his katty land skiis to Clarence Ripke. Johnny Sardelich leaves his ability to make A's in Camposology to Bobby Bickham. Mi e Seaquist leaves his extreme quiet nature and his ability to follow someone else's directions to Charlie Michalik. Vera Roach leaves her book 10 Easy Ways to Hook a Stooge to Betty Roberson, although we don't know what she'd use it for. Barbara Stewart wills her ability to be engaged 5, or is it 6, times to the same guy and never get married to Betty Anderson. Bobbie Tolleson wills her old practice sets in bookkeeping to Val McDonald. Sidney White gives her job at Port Lavaca and her Flirtatious spirit to Pam Green. Ada Merle Denton leaves her ability to get her head slammed in her locker to Helen Heyan. Bennie Starr wills his nickname, Ish , left to him by Era Dewitt to Charlie Michalick. Robert Slaughter leaves his ability to not use profanity in bookkeeping to Kenneth Mixon. Paul Taylor wills his red hair dye and his sleepless nights to Arthur Tucker. Stuhrenberg is such a tightwod that he wouldn't leave anybody anything. Hurta wills his ability to handle explosives and take up 507 hrs. of Mr. Smith's time to Tommy Hamlin. The Ink Spots leave the unmarred front door to all the Junior Class. The Senior TTlass of '58 leaves the termite eaten foundation of the high school, the inspiring faculty, the 3«tone bus barn, the 5 gallon can of paint remover, the ability to be the best Senior Class ever and especially the word TRADITION to the Junior Class.
