Senior Will We the Senior cUn of 1957. in the town of Palacios, the county of Matagorda, state of Texas, being of course, of sound mind and in a much better humor than usual, do hereby make this our last will and testament, rendering null and void any former will of wills that we may have previously made: To Peggy Christmas and Lucy Garcia, Anselma Perez leaves her baton that was given her by Sadie Cortes. To Rose Marie Shimek and Vera Roach. Eileen Miller leaves her ability, given her by Betty Jo Robinson, to sleep during six weeks test in English class. Pat Jewell wills his typing ability to Mrs. Wheeler. Gerald Wells wills his ability to work in shop class to Ted Bates. William Sanders leaves his Elvis Presley sideburns to Robert Slaughter, and hopes they do him more good than they did him. Leslie Hoffman leaves Kenneth Brune his ability to play hookey and still pass. Oren Hamlin leaves his ability to stay out of trouble to John Sardelich and also Joyce Linlcy. (Take care of her, John.) Roy Corporon wills his typing ability to Guy Chamblee. Anselma Perez wills Lucy Garcia her extreme height; hope it does you some good Lucy. Leo Morish leaves Virginia Lotheridge. ?? ? Leonard Gutierrez leaves Hervey Gonzales his loud-mouth and all his girls. Clark Jackson leaves Johnny Hamlin his slightly old foot cast . Bobby Kitchens leaves Barbara Stewart his curley hair and tight blue jeans. Gwen Smith leaves Margaret Ottino her Novel of 10 Easy Lessons on How to Get Along with Boys . Dorothy Roach wills her family size bottle of Hadacol to Donnie Cosby. Dorothy says not to use it all cause she might need it again. Mary Jean Roach and Pearl Blackburn wills Lyn Richards and Betty Tanner the ability to become engaged before their senior year and not get married until after graduation. La Verne Powell wills Peggy Ramsey her book entitled How to Get Along with Your Husband . To Lawrence Navarro and Ramona Ramirez, Jessie Alvarez wills Rosie and his typing ability. James Baldwin leaves to Dennis Leighton his Happy Go Lucky School Days, and 1 don't care what comes next feelings. Elka Haubold wills her height and ability to make a hook shot to Tommy Tumlinson. To Bobbie Tolle son. Gale King leaves her slightly used triplicate layout sheets, envelopes, mounting boards, and instruction books she used for the Sr. section of the annual. If you can't use the stuff, Bobbie, give it to Harold Bowers to make paper airplanes out of. To John Lee Henry, Abelardo Flores, and Glen Smith, Bobby Bradshaw, Irvin Henson, and Tommy Brandon leave their places on the chemistry board of upper 50 per cent, provided they ask Mr. Clark enough questions to keep him busy and see that he doesn't blow the lab up. We don't want that curly black hair to get singed. Joe Tanner leaves all his pals and his late, late, hours in Bay City, El Campo. Plainview, Matagorda, and the whole state of Texas to Pat Jenkins. Herbert Schneider leaves his Manager's profession to Johnny Hamlin. Rosie Janes leaves her ability to pass chemistry and get along with Mr. Clark to Gloria Hetchler and Joyce Brune. Ronald Sanders leaves to James Farley and Learine Rooks his wise cracks and talking ability. Joy Corporon wills Robert Keszler her ability to go steady with the same person during his Senior year. Joe Johs, Jr. wills Arthur Alamia his ability to know the answers before the teacher gives the test. Norma Rampmeier leaves Roger Anthis her ability to play basketball. To Mike Seaquist, Bobby Bradshaw wills Don Johnson's size 13 football shoes and ability to make sarcastic remarks given him by Beckwith Steiner. Edward Pennington wills to Harold Bowers his ability to hunt skunks under Mrs. Friery's room in the middle of class. Pat Nelson leaves his football ability to Glen Smith. And Pat says since he was so kind as to do this, he'ed be mighty happy if Glen would lend him some of his brains. James Hevel leaves his job in the cafeteria to Albert Diaz. Get those trays clean, son. Joan Kastrop wills to Paul her secret for success, If at first you don't succeed. Cry. Cry again. To David Carter. Lee Roy Rogers leaves his skill to win any drag race, except for beat up Fords. He also leaves his talent for music to Patsy Robinson and Laura Ford, because there'll be no music where he's going. Louis Sanchez, Norma Soto wills her ability to attend all the out of town Sunday night dances and get up Monday mornings and go to school. To Leroy Hurta and Billie Stuhrenberg, Norbert Eggemeyer leaves his crown as Polka Champion of the Southwest. To Bennie Starr, Ira DeWitt leaves his old nickname Ish , given to Him by Coach Holst. Gwen Smith leaves her rare ol' receipc of flavored punch to Carol Ann Partain, Treat it gently. Carol Ann. it's a mighty old heirloom. Cody Mize leaves her ability to foul out in all the basketball games to Betty Jane and also her worn out basketball pants. Raymond Michalik wills his dramatic dancing ability to Roberta Buckley and Diana Pnndle. Don Rowand leaves to John Glowka, his bull shooting ability he acquired from Cowboy Carrel, who never used it. Bobby Guttenberger wills to Harold Bowers. Keith Thompson and John Beard his wee, wee hours in Bay City and all the girls from Bay City, except one. Kenneth Countryman and Gwen Smith wills Mr. Smith a year's vacation with full pay (If you can't get a vaca- tion. play hookey, then forge your mother's handwriting on an excuse. ) It Works! ! ! Jack Crawford wills David Carter, Mrs. Myrtle Smith, his favorite teacher. Be sure and take good care of her, David. Cody Moze, Sue Ruth, Bobby Guttenberger will their English IV ability to Marshall Rogers. Sue Ruth wills Albert Brock to Lela Bell Phillips. What ?????? Jeannette Oglesby. Gwne Smith, Dorothy Roach. Glenda Beaton. Mary Jean Roach, and Joan Kastrop will to the Juniors their ability to dance on the tennis court and not ruin their shoes. Norma and Cody will to Coach Hendricks and Diana Pnndle their ability to sneak into a swimming pool in the wee hours of the morning and not get caught. And to the Faculty of P. H. S. , the Senior Class is happy to leave. Well, isn't that enough????!
