THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF THE SENIOR CLASS OF ONE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR, A. D. The Polocios Senior High School Seniors of the present time, being of sound mind as we always are, do hereby bequeath our last will and testament with the hope that this serious matter will be taken reverently and that our most proud and highly prized possessions ore regarded with as deep a consideration as we have dealt with them. This will and testament was officially witnessed by the most Honorable Senior High School Sophomores, who for one decode have taken their places in the most widely known coeducational tuitional high school of Palacios, Texas. This will and testament is now signed, sealed, and delivered. If there ore any questions, remarks, or com- ments, let it be said; otherwise you may proceed with the reading of this document. To Anne Herman, Josephine Roach wills her dancing partner, Paul Guttenberger; handle with care, Anne, os Jose- phine may want him again sometime. To Kay Green, Marilyn Milam wills her ability to strut on the football field. To Jean Ann Falks, Josephine Johs wills all her pictures of James Mangham, including the one of the Shark. To Annette Johnson, Liz McMichiel wills her basketball outfit (including the tennis shoes). We think it will be a perfect fit, with Rose and the “other bone thrown in. To Genoro Salinas, Bobby Pertain would like to leave his ability as an actor. To LoNell Smith, Non Harrison wills her old X boyfriend, Eugene Zemanek. To Phil Richmond, Courtland Fronkson wills his mannish physique. To Patsy Wesselman, Jimmy Hall leaves his Pride and Joy, Mr. S. H. Clark. To Sue Penland, Gwen Johnson leaves her book, Ten Easy Lessons in Love . Sue, this book is quite often used by the girls who are lost out in love. To Laura Jo Swenson, Joyce Cavallin wills her late dates with—well, you know who. To Kay King, Barbara Simpson leaves a pair of barber scissors, hoping that she will take a hint. To Jane Spruiel, Dorothy Wickhom leaves the keys to Alfred's cafe she received last year from Barbara Lou. Jane, we know they will be appreciated as you have been wanting them long enough. Also, Dorothy leaves you her books How to Hold a Boyfriend and How to Bop! To Lorry Ashley, Ima Jean Morgan leaves her watch with an automatic four O'clock alarm. To Rose Purswell and Buddy, Valerie Weaver leaves her Honeymoon Sandwich ——lettuce alone. To Dean Blackwell, Paul Guttenberger leaves his eating and basketball abilities, also and extra toe which he doesn't need! To Rodney Verret, Carrol Harvey leaves his American Accent. To Helen Warn, he leaves his fast rate of speaking. To Pete Martinez, Joseph Baldwin leaves his ability as a softball pitcher. He taught Pete all that he knows. To Mittie Lee Chanik, Dano Kay Paris would like to leave her tight red shorts. To George Cornett, Jerome Kimball wills his four Chevrolet hubcaps and also his friendship with Buster White. To Walter Weakly, James Atkins would like to leave his dance band, hoping that he will do as good o |ob with it as James did. To Verdell Cosby, Nolona Harvey leaves her sweet little brother. Don’t tell anyone but Verdell gave her a dollar to do this. To Neil Blackwell, Don Batchelder leaves his ability to go steady. To Nettie Carter, Sue Jenkins leaves the old proverb: “Little Children should be seen and not heard . To Raymond Mozley, Tom Navarro leaves his title The Cat ! To trustworthy Thelma Nell Jenkins, Ann Brondon leaves Dean - to love, honor, and cherish--until she comes back from College. (P.S. they’re cousins.) To Tommy Reneau, Charles Salinas leaves his athletic ability. To Elaine Klennert, Ann Harrison and Frances Chamblee leaves Leroy. To Betty Sue Phillips, Jo Ann Abraham leaves her booth at the Pharmacy. To Mason Holsworth, Charles Simpson would like to leave his false teeth and fractured elbow. To Carla Ehlers, Pat McDonald would like to leave his ability to skate. He also stated that he would like to ad- minister free instructions. To Billy Roy, Dick Bolling wills his ability to stutter........... To Clarence Cunningham, Joe Roy Beard would like to leave his new book, How to Gain 10 Pounds in Only 3days . To Clorence, Hubert Bowers said he would like to leave his track ability. To Glodys Sheets, Gay Gillett would like to leave her season ticket to the Lone Star Club in Port Lavaca. To Frankie Faye Stallard, Louise Jackson wills her bopping ability. To Jackie Falks, Don Johnson wills his slightly used, size 13 football shoes. To Alfred Manning, Clinton Wratislow would like to leave his muscle building kit. To Traylor Simons, Don Marquess wills his ability to make catty remarks. To Wallis Green, Samuel Willard Godsey III leaves his smooth line and flirting ability. To George Cornett, Don Marquess wills his slightly used crab net, thinking he will probably need it. To Wayne Ellis, George Lowry would like to leave his knowledge in Physics. To Ralph Trevino and Frank Navarro, Nelo Seaman and Dick Bolling leave their ability to sing hill-billy songs. To Leroy Smith, Wallace Phillips leaves his ability to go steady with two girls at the same time. To Fred Low, the entire Senior Class wills him 10 gallons of gas for his week-end trips to Alvin. To Jerry Janes, all the Senior Girls would like to leave their hopeless chests. To the whole Junior Class, Lix McMichiel would like to leave her ring-side seat in Mr. Sullivan’s office with no admission to pay. Here's hoping they won’t need it as much as Lix did. To the entire Junior Class, Yvonne Smith leaves old Palacios High, hoping that they will en|oy it and appreciate it as much as she did. She hopes that they will give it the tender care that all the Seniors have in the yeors gone by.
