SENIOR CLASS HISTORY The Class of 1950 began makang has tory early an thear freshman year Soon after schedules had been falled out and lockers assagned the new freshman class chose offacers Elmer Borden was elected presadent assasted by Make Tallman as vace presadent Jam Walder treasurer and Betty Thomas secretary The years farst prog ect was a Halloween party Lake most frosh partaes thas one resulted an a free for all Half the class went out to break wandows whale the other half ran off wath the cader and donuts However the freshman of 1946 dad manage to anclude themselves an more worthwhale projects Already Keath Stram ple Paul Kang and Jack Graham were be aarnarg to anterest themselves an the Stu dent Councal problems an preparataon for thear more seraous dutaes later on Ted Feldt and Make Tallman were members of the Freshman football squad lattle knowang that they would someday be the grad stars of PPHS Jammy Walder showed the school that baseball was has dash By the end of the freshman year the class of 1950 had shown atself to be one hard to beat Sophomore year started out wath the class electang Make Tallman as presadent assasted b Paul Kang Sally Waabel and J V teams were cheered on by one of thear own classmates Sally Waabel Jerry Flan ders and Wayne Bement left the small town stuff behand and were declared Varsatv Materaal an basketball The class felt a seraous loss when Gay Parsons left for Eng land but revaved an order to select Dot Patcher to fall the secretaraal post The year ended successfully wath an outdoor party at Tallman s cottage The Junaor year found the Class of 1950 an a turmoal The questaan was who should be edator of the yearbook?
