SENKDR PLAY lst Few: Icyce l,efvvnR-rcf 1, Alfa McCagty, Feb Fcse. Znd Pow: Eeverlee faccbs, Martha Frost. Grd Fow: Itfozilyn Eurke, Donald Freeman, Beverly Adler, Gerald Craig. Poor Lyriari Winchell, hen-pecked by his money-crazy w.fe, Estelle, and flabbergazted by his ijt Aunt Alice, who paid him an allowance, provided he rernaln single, gets in one iam cfter another. Tommy Rotanah, an old fziend of l.yrnan's, pavs him a visit, and Tcmmy's ziancee Grace Sterling, and her friends, Irene Andrews and Rose Stanford arrive to complicate matters. Tommy pretends to be Estelle's husband to protect Lyman, thereby getting in trouble with Grace. Aunty catches Tommy making love to Grace, his fiancee, when she thinks Estelle is his wife. There are a couple of rows with the maid, Iennie, and with the grocery-boy. The whole ploy gets confusing by the minute and then suddenly it all unwinds and everybody lives happily ever after. The audience, from the loud peals of laughter that came forth over the footlights, seemed to enjoy the farce. The Seniors hit a new record in ticket sales, making over S300.UO. We, the cast, put a few grey hairs in Mrs. Willlams' head but when it was all said. and done, we amateurs surely had fun. Bob Rose, after taking cram lessons on the sax from the patient Professor tnow Privatel Craig last summer, entered the band along with Romney Dann and Bob Reep. 'We've played at several social hours, at the Recreation Club, at a CFA Ball, at the Baron Steuben, and once at a gay wedding reception, How we sounded as well as we did with so little practice will always remain a mystery in the mind of our competent and patient leader, Bob Hubbard. But we Surely had fun, huh, fellas?
