CI ASS I-IIQTORX ln the year of our Lord nlneteen hundred and thlrty nme slxty fxve meek mnoc ent amb tlous boy and 1 lrls walked tlmldly IDIO th hl h school lmhat dear reader was the Class of 43 ln dlSgUlS6 Ars soon as thev entered the portals of our beloy ed IH tltutxon hey deemed the dlsvux unnecessart and dld away with lt A FICSDYIICD they chose lVlr Chappell the music Instructor a class acl xlsor rlhelr popular classmate Lynn lVlorse became president of th fun lounf mob Durmv thelr flYSt adyenturous year ln hugh school they enter ta ned themsely s wlth a b ke hlke and a roller skating party whxch last took place at th huve rlnk at Cnbson a suburb of Cormng 'lhey also paid dues into the class treasury durlng thls vear The summer vacatlon ended thev went back to school and placed themselves under the guldance of M198 Hayford wlth Carrle ean Pxerson as pl sldent of the class A hay rlde a square dance and a blke hlke amused the happy go lucky bunch durlng thelr Sophomore year It was also a good year for them fmancxally speaklng for they recelyed back the dues they had so dlhgently pald ln their Freshman year The flrst week of September l9-42 echoed with the laughter of the umor Class of P P H S It mlght posslbly have echoed wlth the groans of the faculty of P P HS also lmmer Snearly became class president that year and lVlr Sanford class advlsor That was the year they began to earn money for the long antlclpated trlp to Washlngton D C Nxckles and dxmes rolled eagerly 1nto the treasury from Christmas card sales and the umor Prom both of whlch were great successes They also made a success of the Poster and caused quarters and flfty cent pleces to find thelr way lnto the treasury The September of 1942 some forty odd SCDIOIS went back to school to start thmgs rolllng Durlng the course of the year they undertook and made successes of several dances ln anuary the three boys who left for the Army Raphael Tombasco Harold Schoonover and Harry deluorralne were glven a private square dance m the Gym As a result of the tlcket sales for the Senxor Play the boys gave the glrls a party The four eventful years rn hlgh school ended wlth Commencement l:xer clses for the smallest graduatlng class to come out of Pamted Post l-llgh School m many years Yes the class was small but lt was a good class anyway l think so nl S .,, Y . 1 . v-. . 7- ' I 1 vg 7' y - A v.
