in Lindley Naturally she came down Wlth flying fever and invented a plane which she calls her inspiration She s flown around the world in It four times in the last two years Gerald Hayes was just a little squirt the year l left Painted Post but they say he gr w at least three feet in the next year After working for a time as thin man IH a circus side show he decided to go on an expedltion to Darkest Africa in search of Dr Alger Clark who had been unheard of tor several years The natives were so impressed with this tall thin man that they thought he must be a God and took him to Dr Clark as soon as he asked them about him He learned thelr language you see When he found Dr Clark peacefully sleeping in a grass hut he woke him and sald D Clark l presume The two were soon chatting together and neither has bothered to come home since Soon after Graduation Bill Payne went into politics He gradually worked his way up to the office of governor of New York State then surprised everyone by refuslnv to run for president He s the power behind the presenv presldent Harold Ohl though Everyone knows it but no one can do anything about it b cause he s so powerful Mary Curreri is starting on her third tour of the world this week She comes home every so often to catch up on the late t dance steps then starts out again to demonstrate them to all the dance loving people of the world She stops off to see her husband in Wisconsin on every trip Elsie Huggins Evelyn Oakden Francis Barcykowskl and lVlary Miller they went to South Amerlca They only intended to stay a few weeks when they left the United States but it seems that each of them met a handsome dark Latin Amerlcan and decided to stay longer The way the papers read now I guess they re never coming back Lewis Bower became so enthusiastic over his work at the Lornmg Glass Works that he lnvented a new kind of magnifying glass for wolves Since that invention didnt bring in very big returns he went to work and made a number of more useful ones one being a soft kind of Glass that a woman can throw at her husband without fear of harmlng him Three of the boys Gordon Champlain Arthur Howell and Bob Bon brake formed a partnership in the vacuum cleaner selling field Bob lays abed every day til noon thinking up sales talks for Gorden and Arthur while they go out and sell the cleaners with their own simple phrases punctuated with pistol shots' lVlahlon Cook and Russell Scudder formed another partnership Rus ell inherited his father s dairy farm but needed someone to help him run it Xt last he hit upon lVlahlon who was C3SllX persuaded to Join him They have worked so hard that they have made every child s dream come true a cow that gives chocolate milk Television became the great love of Wlndy Hall He saw no reasan why xt should not be common in every home so he proceeded to make lt and ended up on relief before he had accomplished his purpose Clarlce Gamble went to New York City for a visit with a dlstant rela tne the Proctor and Gamble one you know While she was there she developed an immense mterest in dress deslgnlnff She settled down to study under some of the most famous designers of all time and in no time at all she 31 F A . . - y . . .
