BILL SCHOOLER ' For the second year Mr. Schooler has been our band d i r e c to r in Paducah Iligh. The band, under his direction, has really made tremendous gains. They certainly do more than their part in showing our school spirit. Mr. Schooler has this as one of his primary motives. The Dragon Band is small, but very peppy. A great amount of work,is required for their-half-time performance s onthe Dragon football field. Yet, as the annual goes to press, they are working harder on the overtures and marc he s for the Inter- scholastic League Contest. Much team- work is required for all the s olo s, duets, and ensembles. Many thanks to our Dra- gon Band. We of the annual staff shall be frank enough to add that far too few stude nt s take part in outside activities. The band, the football team, the basketball team, and all other activities plead for more participants. We, the students, represent Paducah High School. Think it over, kids. This year Mr. Schooler started a band council. Any major issue which concerns the band member sis dis- cussed with the council. This group consists of the offic e r s, the drum major, and representatives from each class. A Iso, one is elected from Goodwin. The c las s representa- tives are shown here: Senior, SHIRLEY BOWLING: Junior, BILLY Q. RICHARDS: Soph- omore, MIKE HENRY5Fresh- man, ANN FISHQ and Good- win, RONNIE R IC HAR DS.
