Although 1953 was the first ' -- year for the Student Council to function, the organization made great improvements for the school. Among the projects for the year were the candy dispenserffor raising Council moneyj the Christmas Band Concert, the lighted Christmas tree, and the national patriotism and student leader- ship through the assembly programs.

Sparkling brown hair and twinkling brown eyes describe this lovely Sophomore who has been a member of the P. H. S. Band for two years, serving as reporter the latter year. Her friendly ways have won everyone's re- spect.
