These courses form the major part of the Engineering program at PIC. Mathematics, the Queen of the Sciences' as well as the 'Language of the Universe', is fundamental to today's complex, technological society. Chemistry is a constantly changing science. It is important because of the principles of reasoning it teaches. Physics, one of the greatest of in- tellectual disciplines, must be regarded as one of the chief cornerstones of a gen- eral education.
