For all Senior c rII always remember. Our Senior year. Time passed so quickly. Then graduation was near. I'll always remember. Friendships we held so dear. Precious moments remembered When we're no longer here. r II always remember, Our Senior year. I'll remember. I'll remember. Groovy times at the dances. Studying for our exams. Now, now that it's all over We'll have to make future plans, I'll always remember. The all night parties and proms. High school days are over. And all our friends are gone. I'll remember, 'cause memories are with each dawn Selected 14 16 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS WHO'S WHO 1 - Vanessa Goode 2 - Marcia Teaster 3 - Gregg Tate 4 - Robin White 5 - Jeff Worthy 6 - Ann Bishop 7 - Walter Shippy 8 - Wanda Miller 9 - Maurisa McDonald 10- Kay Dean These students chosen by the faculty, were selected on the basis of their academic achievement, leadership ability, and service to Pacolet High School during their high school years. BRUCE ANTHONY Work is work and must be done; nevertheless I'll have my fun. MELINDA BERRY Someday all you Fresh-men; Sophomores, and Juniors will make it to the twelfth grade. I did. Enjoy your school years as they come. ANN BISHOP ATTENTION: Due to lack of interest, tomorrow has been cancelled, so, let's get it on while we can. DOUG BISHOP Under the circumstances I plead the Fifth Amendment. JOHNNY BRIENTANBACK I am now prepared to take a vacation and not worry about returning to school. EDDIE BRYANT Once a king, always a king, but once a knight is enough. ROBIN BURGESS ROBIN BURNS See no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil, and you'll surely be a dull companion. EDDIE BYRD What is it? A boy, a girl? No, it's a Senior! We have our gang, because on May 30, we are going to do our thing! 20 DALE CAMPBELL My brain begins to work when I wake up and stops when I get to school. JACKIE CARRIGAN Although my intellectual status is one to be envied, I find it virtually impossible to conceive in so short a period of time an anecdote or phrase appropriate to the occasion. MELODY CHESNEY The touch of your love is a gift I will never forget. WANDA CURRY Once a basket, once a ball, once I'm gone there's no one to carry on. ROBERT DAVIS The air is free in the sky, so come and go; love is like me, sweet as I can be. KAY DEAN Love can make you happy if you find the right person to share it with. Henry” WANDA DILLARD It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. ROGER DUNCAN Remember the Pacolet High Defense of '74. JOEY FLEMING School is a great ordeal if you don't have to go. RICKY FOSTER We as Blacks should set a goal in life and make some means of accomplishing it. VANESSA GOODE It's the real thing, Class of '75 , Power to the rest because Seniors are the best! SUSAN GRIZZLE We may never pass this way again. CALVIN HARDY There is only one success-to be able to spend your life in your own way. RANDY HARVEY Happiness is not being smart enough to know what to worry about. ROBBY HARVEY It's not what you do, but what you get away with. 21 JOSEPH HAYES CINDY JONES Anything will give up its secret if you love it enough. GRADUATION IS NOT THE END OF THE LADDER, BUT ONLY THE FIRST STEP. RICHARD KEY Determination is the key to success. SANDRA KNOX I'm going on to better things (it can't get any worse.) DEBBIE LeMASTER Rocky, August 8, 1973, Hey Babe, Darlene, Jo-Ann, Kay (Our Gang) Believe it or not we've made it to the big year. Graduation-May 30, 1975. Myrtle Beach bound, Debbie loves Rocky. CAROL LLOYD If not for dreams, life would be like a broken winged bird that cannot fly. KAY LYDA Happy memories line the long road I have traveled, but as I turn to walk through these doors, I realize I have just begun memories ever-lasting. JIMMY McBETH When you write L-O-V-E (Love) what have you got? Add L-Y, now what? (Lovely) That's Me! MARY McCOLLUM RANDY MARTIN Good luck to the Class of 76. Graduation Day, Seniors to Myrtle Beach. Class of '75. WANDA MILLER Don't sit on the sidelines all of your life, get in the game. BARBARA McCUTCHEON September 6, 1974-A day of many tears, a lot of rain, happiness, and love. GAYLE MASON If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me? For I must be traveling on now, cause there's too many places I gotta see. FELECIA MILLWOOD I've waited a long time .to become a Senior and to graduate. Now I'm here and frightened. I've got to make a future for myself and I hope I'm ready. maurisa McDonald Happiness comes from the things that cannot be taken away from you and memories of the things that were. PAM MARTIN I shall pass through this world but once. Any good I can do or kindness I can show, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again. THIS IS NOT THE END; THIS IS NOT EVEN THE BEGINNING OF THE END, IT IS, PERHAPS, THE END OF THE BEGINNING. 23 SHARON MOORE . . . If I cannot truly be myself, I cannot be . . . PAM MORGAN Love without friendship is like a shadow without the sun. Friendship makes life beautiful and living wonderful. BILLY O'SHIELDS I, Billy O'Shields, admit I'm not the best man in the world, I'm the ONLY man in the world. RAY PAINTER Music maketh joyful and wine maketh merry, so let's PARTY. THOMAS REID To P.H.S., please carry this terrific name on, UG . I was All American three years straight. For the people I will be your hero forever . PAM ROBINETTE Our lives are shaped by those who love us ... by those who refuse to love us. WANDA ROCHESTER We judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing. SUSAN RUSH The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want . . . Glenn . . . The unspoken dialogue between two people can never be replaced by anything they say. WALTER SHIPPY Wisdom weighs in pounds, that's why I'm wiser than any other. JUDY SMITH Knowing who you are and what your part in life is. SHARON SMITH A woman can be anything the man who loves her would have her be. SHEILA SMITH 24 SONJA SMITH Learning is the main key in reaching that goal in life. We must apply ourself and accomplish that goal. DARLENE SNAPP June 24 1971. Me, Debbie, Kay, JoAnn. We've finally made it. May 30, 1975-Myrtle Beach bound Let's party! Bye baby. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. FREIDA TATE People seldom say I love you , but when they do it's either too late or love has gone. Fred and Block GREGG TATE I'm very happy to be here, in fact I'm happy to be anywhere. MARCIA TEASTER Wanted: Someone to take the blame for everything I do wrong around here. ANDORA WANNAMAKER JoANN WEATHERS A smile never dies, memories live forever, tomorrow never comes. Our gang, Darlene, Me, Darlene, Debbie, and Kay. Let's Party! Man, this ain't for real! JoAnn loves Muriel. JAN WELLS Without honesty there is no truth, without truth there is no love, and without love there is nothing. ROBIN WHITE I do my thing, and you do your thing; if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful. LINDA WILLIAMS There's nothing half as sweet in life as young love for Jerry and me. JEFF WORTHY Words and Wisdom go together; that's why I never say anything. ALLEN YEARGIN 28 Debbie Smith—Treasurer Cynthia Hill—Sp.
